Come along and enjoy a relaxing Spring evening’s entertainment in the atmosphere of this beautiful church with family and friends and experience a wide variety of music and song enhanced by its wonderful acoustics. 

As the choir begin to plan towards its 125th anniversary in 2028, it continues to develop an increasingly wide range of songs to please all music tastes and age ranges, and this is fully reflected in the programme with many genres of music reflected. The concert is also enhanced by a number of talented soloists and musicians. 

Most of the choirs’ concerts take place locally in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire; frequently helping raise funds for charities and good causes. Whether singing at prestigious venues with large audiences or to small groups of individuals in any setting, the choir aim to achieve the same high level of performance and entertainment and receive many compliments from audiences and other choirs. The choir is also known nationally by touring in early May to various destinations in the country and singing. 

Entry is by payment on the door at £8.00 for Adults. Children and Young People are FREE to help with difficulties families are currently facing. Everyone is welcome! The proceeds of the concert will benefit Dementia UK and Riddings Church. Refreshments and raffle are available.  
Why not join the choir and start a new activity? It could not be easier. It’s fun, good for your health and wellbeing, and you will make new friends and put a smile on your face as you blend your voice with others. Whether you are experienced, or a non-experienced singer of any age, you will be made to feel equally welcome and given every help and assistance. Every type of male voice is needed, especially bass (low voices) and tenors (high voices).

The choir practice at the Dale Club, Jacksdale, every Monday evening at 7.30 p.m. Why not come along and give it a go? You have nothing to lose, but a great deal to gain.
